I recently bought a CD with this song on it. The words are lovely, though I would have tweaked it a bit. It sums up some of the things that are good about living in the mountains.

Master Gardener, help me be
Content with where You’ve planted me;
You carefully place each seed you sow,
And choose the soil to make it grow,
A shady nook or sunlit plot,
A wooded glen or garden spot;
And when you send the storm and shower,
You give me strength and inner power;
All things come that You might be
Glorified, my God, in me;
And so I’ll lift my flowers high,
To cheer and bless each passerby;
And may they see within my face
The beauty of Your love and grace;
So help me, Lord, to ever be
Blooming where You planted me.
I hope you can continue this blog, Linda. You sound as if you are starting off in reflective mood and mode - and isn't that part of treechanging and seachanging.
ReplyDeleteA part of my life was treechanging at Bluewater, just north of Townsville in the shadow of the World Heritage listed rainforest. However, the dearly beloved departed this world and our dreams of what we would do in that part of the world went with him. I then came to the Melbourne to live with my daughter. And another adventure came into my life.
Love John Williamson, BTW. Saw him once when I lived in Tennant Creek.
Blessings and bliss,
Brigid
Thanks for the encouragement Brigid. I must fix the colours again for the writing. I had them right then had to reinstal background when they did their upgrade at the background site.

Hi Linda,thank you for visiting my blog, I just came for a visit to you.We live in the Hunter Valley in NSW and a little town named Murrurundi is just up the road,it is a delightful little place.Wonder if it is the same one. Thank you for sharing your days with us. Carole xx
ReplyDeleteHi again...O'h my gosh did read the title properly did I lol o'h well it si a blonde day but thats the way I am at the moment..hope it passes soon blessings Carole xx
ReplyDeleteIn NSW the names of the town seem to be the same as Victorian ones but always slightly different. Murrindindi in Victoria is a Shire that includes Yea and some of the bushfire places from a year ago, and I lived there in 2003.
