I recently bought a CD with this song on it. The words are lovely, though I would have tweaked it a bit. It sums up some of the things that are good about living in the mountains.

Blooming Where You Are Planted
I have started this blog with the idea that being a remote treechanger must have an end date. However, I have seen treechangers still referred to that many years later. I had some lovely comments about how we have bloomed here. Murrindindi means home in the mountains. So that would be the logical next name for a blog.
There have been some visitors here while I am still thinking about if I feel at home here. I did when I started the blog obviously. Still I have also since thought of more troubles that stem from living here, and haven't been able to blog about them. Either the speed is too slow, or my girls are using the computer.
It is actually winter here, maybe not time to bloom yet. I have this plant (above) at my newer house. It is growing well, but still small.
